A fundamental
part of all TEFL
120 hour course, is that trainees will teach the observed six-hour
classes to real students using the skills learned during the training. Levels
range from beginner to intermediate with an age range from primary to
adulthood. One-to-one feedback will be given to each trainee by one of the
experienced TEFL class observers. So if you are going to take the TEFL 120 hour course, this is what you
will be expecting.
But note that
March, April and October of the courses are good months for TEFL training (as
they finish just before new semesters start, and schools are hiring for
semesters to come). However, as many schools are closed at this time, it is not
always possible to have all teaching practices with formal school students. For
a limited number of teaching practices that cannot use Thai formal school
students, some universities use their teachers and English-camp participants as
students?
Foreign Language Experience
Appreciation
of the difficulties associated with learning a foreign language and how this
can benefit teachers. The trainees will receive an overview of the grammar,
including all-weather verbs and language components as well as a targeted
analysis of conditional sentences, passive verbal forms and common verb tenses.
Stress, intonation and rhythm will be analyzed and put into practice.
English student profile
Trainees work
with individual students on relationship building, analysis and correction of
mistakes and meet the individual needs of students. A final report including a
needs analysis, student analysis and summary will be prepared by the trainees
and discussed with the course instructor.
